On April 1, Yu Baozheng, Party Secretary of the School of Future Technology Innovation, and Meng Xianwei, Vice Dean, led a delegation to conduct an inspection and research visit to Anhui General Aviation Holding Group. The two sides held a special forum focusing on the innovative application of Beidou system in the low-altitude field and in-depth university-enterprise cooperation. Wang Xingbing, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Anhui General Aviation Holding Group, Yue Jianbo, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager, and other officials attended the forum.

At the forum, Wang Xingbing introduced the Group’s construction layout and development plans in low-altitude intelligent connectivity, airspace operation, and general aviation services. He stated that the low-altitude economy has entered a new stage of accelerated development, and there is an urgent demand for key technologies such as Beidou navigation and positioning, space-air-ground integrated communication, and low-altitude intelligent perception. He expressed the hope of carrying out practical and efficient cooperation with Hefei University of Technology in joint research on key technologies, collaborative training of high-level talents, and joint construction and sharing of scientific research platforms, so as to jointly serve the high-quality development of Anhui’s low-altitude economy.

Yu Baozheng expressed gratitude for the Group’s support to the university. He pointed out that oriented toward interdisciplinary cultivation, cutting-edge technological innovation and local industrial services, the School has laid a solid foundation for deepening university-enterprise cooperation relying on the university’s disciplinary advantages in information and communication, Beidou navigation application, intelligent perception and other fields. Both sides should base themselves on Anhui and focus on industrial needs, strengthen complementary resources, deepen collaborative innovation, and promote steady and effective cooperation with tangible outcomes.

The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on key technological breakthroughs, joint talent training, co-construction of scientific research platforms, and joint application for major projects, reaching a series of cooperation consensus.
